OptM’s EV fast charging software is a robust Fast Charging Application Software designed to enable secure, intelligent, and interoperable DC charging for electric vehicles. Built on Power Line Communication (PLC) technology, FCAS facilitates seamless bidirectional communication between the EV and the charging station over the same physical conductors used for power delivery, eliminating the need for separate data lines and ensuring a more reliable and efficient charging experience. Conforming to globally accepted ISO 15118 and DIN 70121 standards, FCAS ensures full compatibility with modern Combined Charging System (CCS) architectures and is engineered to support both High-Level Communication (HLC) and Low-Level Communication (LLC) phases of the charging process.
